The Santa Clause: Elizabeth Mitchell Returns for Disney+ Series as Mrs. Clause

The list of actors set to star in The Santa Clause series moving to Disney Plus is expanding, and fans will be pleased to learn that a fan favorite will be returning alongside Tim Allen’s Scott Calvin, aka Santa Claus.

Deadline reported that we’re ecstatic to hear that Mrs. Clause will be returning for the Disney Plus Santa Clause series, which is set to premiere in 2019.

The Santa Clause has a special place in our hearts, and the narrative is near and dear to ours. For many people, the films are a holiday tradition. It’s wonderful news to hear that Mitchell and Allen will reunite as Mr. & Mrs. Clause once more.

After the release of the third The Santa Clause film, Scott Calvin is at a crossroads in his life. The description from Disney is as follows:

“Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.”

We’ve been waiting for a sequel to the Calvin (or Clause) family since 1996, and we can’t wait to see what comes next for them. We hope it’s as wonderful as the magic they’ve given us over the years.
