Wesley Snipes Returns To Marvel, But Not In the Manner That Anyone Expected.

After 19 years, Wesley Snipes returns as the Marvel character he made his debut in Blade: Trinity. He’s back now, but it won’t be quite what fans of his stylish and violent vampire-slicing hero were hoping for.

Snipes has been cast as a guest voice actor in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, an upcoming Disney Plus cartoon set to premiere on the channel in 2023 based on the current version of Jack Kirby characters. The first footage from the show was released yesterday, along with confirmation that it will include a large number of cameos.

While the emoji-heavy energetic style may not appeal to everyone, we kind of like it. Diamond White will provide the voice for Moon Girl, who is a lead character in the series. Mr. Tatasciore will make his 700th voice acting credit of the week by voicing Devil Dinosaur’s lead hero, Moon Girl. More excitingly.

Then there are the guest actors, including Alison Brie, May Calamawy, Luis Guzman, Jennifer Hudson, Method Man, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Sadly, even after its long development (it was first announced as being in production in 2018), it will not premiere until sometime in 2023. Here’s hoping this delivers more of the hilarious action we see in the trailer, as well as incorporating some of the wild behavior from recent Devil Dinosaur comics into animation.

Anyone wanna see the Devil Dinosaur as a member of the Fantastic Four?
