Stranger Things: Season 4 Release Date Determined Via Clues!

If a fan theory pans out, Stranger Things season 4 may be available on Netflix this July.

In the most recent teaser video, which was released in the fall, a Surfer Boy Pizza van slides off-road for a fraction of a second, with the company’s contact information displayed as ‘805-45-PIZZA’ on its side.

On Reddit, callers spoke about calling this number and being led to “Happy birthday music,” which may suggest a connection to an episode of season 3 that was originally titled “The Birthday.”

This, according to one fast-thinking user, “might be linked to the program’s anniversary,” which would mean the show’s fourth season will premiere on July 15th.

“AND July 15th is a Friday. WHOA!” responded someone else, which is of course a reference to the streaming giant’s penchant for big releases on Fridays.

Meanwhile, executive producer Shawn Levy previously stated that this is the “most ambitious” season yet.

“Season 4 was built to be by far the most ambitious, cinematic, sprawling and epic season that we’ve ever done. By not just a little – by a lot.”

“So the complexity of season 4, even before we had the obstacles, hurdles and challenges of a pandemic, is taking a lot of time because it is super worth the wait,” he explained.”
